Recipe: Kimchi Jjigae 👄

Annyeonghaseyo! today I would love to share a korean recipe which is kimchi jjigae.
What is kimchi jjigae? kimchi jjigae is kimchi stew. it is such a simple recipe to share to all of you.
INGREDIENTS
- kimchi (i bought it at Giant supermarket in klang)
- kimchi brine (the water that comes with the kimchi)
- beef or chicken (slice)
- tofu (slice into thick bite size)
- green onion (daun bawang)(slice)
- onion (bawang kuning) (slice)
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 teaspoon of sugar
- 2 teaspoon of gochugaru (korean hot pepper flakes)
- 2 tablespoon of gochujang (hot pepper paste)
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 2 cups of anchovy stock or chicken broth or beef broth
DIRECTIONS
- put the kimchi and kimchi brine into a pot.
- place the beef onto the kimchi
- put the sliced onion and green onion
- sprinkle the salt and sugar
- pour the anchovy stock
- put the gochujang and gochugaru
- drip some sesame oil
- put on the fire for 10 minutes
- close the lid
- after 10 minutes
- lower the heat
- put the slice tofu and the residue of green onion
Done! and you can eat with other banchan (side dish) or maybe just with bowl of rice.
