There is so much type of coffee available in the the market nowadays. From expensive coffee that served in the cafe till coffee that are served in a can that you can buy it just from a vending machine.


But how well does coffee work to keep you awake? Because as far as I know drinking too much coffee may cause another implication. 

The content of caffeine.

The caffeine content in a cup of coffee depends on the brewing method. there is an average of 95 mg of caffeine in brewed drip coffee, 62 mg in instant, 2mg in decaffeinated and 64 mg in 1 cup of espresso. Through my reading, it is the caffeine in coffee that helps keep consumers awake. Caffeine is both a metabolic and central nervous system stimulant that boost energy and improves alertness,focus and concentration.

Dose and timing.

The benefits of caffeine is it include alertness with moderate dose. caffeine is absorbed and fully circulated withing 30 to 60 minutes of consumption with effects lasting up to six hours. The exact timing varies based on individual response rates and dosage.

Too much caffeine.

Too much caffeine which is 600 mg or more will leave consumers tired and unfocused. symptoms of excessive caffeine include nausea,headaches,dizziness,restless,jitters and shakiness. other side effects include increased urination, deressin, anxiety and difficluty getting adequate,deep,continuos sleep.
